“My father was my first influences in art, as he would draw and paint many animals or charters for myself and my brothers. My elementary art teacher Ms. Bud inspired me by teaching us fun and different techniques of art from pottery to water colors with crayons. This insight into the arts inspired me to take numerous art classes when I attend Lafayette Jefferson High School. I was fortunate enough to attend a high school that thrived within the arts and provided classes such as photography, graphic arts, interior design, auto cad, and a fibers class. After graduation I moved to Chicago to attend the Illinois Institute of Art and graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Interior design in the summer of 2009. I now am a Catering Manager for the Congress Plaza Hotel, I use a lot of my skills within the arts by assisting my clients with helping make their wedding or social event most memorable.”
