Sheila Swann is a painter, illustrator, graphic designer and writer, living in Chicago.
Currently art director for three North Side newspapers, Swann has been a working artist on a tight deadline for over thirty years.
Painting on walls, fabrics, glass and canvas, or illustrating concert posters, design is what she does. Commissioned work and freelance … Swann paints, draws, creates logos / identities and lays out ads, magazines and newspapers. She’s even done some graphic design for a few CPD mounted policemen in her past.
Swann has put her artistic touch on just about every job she’s ever had … and she’s thrilled to have painted a Horse of Honor and to honor Officer Michael Bailey.
