Vic was raised on the Northside where he recognized early on, that he loved art and working with his hands. Being creative came easy to Vic. He followed his instinct and applied to The School Of The Art Institute for college. Vic was accepted into the under graduate program, where he spent most of his time studying sculpture and printmaking. Vic graduated in 1991 with a BFA from SAIC.

Vic had taken several exams for employment with the Chicago Police Dept. Before being hired, Vic worked various construction jobs, including  a carpenter, building booths for trade shows for several exhibit companies. In 1997, Vic finally got accepted to be a Chicago Patrolman. Vic is currently working the streets of Chicago and making art in his free time.
